New Summer Hours at KYD! Plus a few updates!
Sat nam, and welcome in!
Summer’s here! We have three months to create what will eventually become a merely a memory, and useful only insofar as we learn lessons of Joy and Peace that we remember to apply to the Now! Let’s do it!
Beginning June 19, which is a Thursday, we start a new schedule honored through the end of September. Unless a class never populates after four weeks; then it might get chucked. Wednesday night at 7 pm, I’m looking at you.
As always, we are open to your suggestions for a class time that works for you. The only time slots we are less likely to accommodate are the ones before ten am. We are retirees, and we are living our best life; we don’t get up before 8 am to get to work. Fifty years of that is enough, if you’re lucky, which we are.
That’s not to say that if a bunch of you wanted to do an Aquarian Sadhana that starts at 4:30 am and ends at 7 am, we would refuse! Man, those were the fun days, right?
Here’s the new schedule of classes:
DAY | TIME | CLASS | PRICE |
MONDAY | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM | MEDITATION | $3-$10 |
7:15 PM - 8:15 PM | GONG IMMERSION | $30
TUESDAY | 11 AM - 12:30 PM | KUNDALINI YOGA | $25 |
WEDNESDAY | 7 PM - 8:30 PM | KUNDALINI YOGA | $25 |
THURSDAY | 5:45 PM - 7:15 PM | KUNDALINI YOGA | $25 |
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM | GONG IMMERSION | $40
FRIDAY | 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM | GONG IMMERSION | $40 |
SATURDAY | 11 AM - 12:30 PM | KUNDALINI YOGA | $25 |
1:00 PM - 2 PM | GONG IMMERSION | $40
SUNDAY | 7 PM - 8:00 PM | GONG IMMERSION | $40 |
5-CLASS PACK (PAID IN PERSON) $80 FOR YOGA
5-CLASS PACK (PAID IN PERSON) $150 FOR GONG
Sundays and Mondays are still open for private classes.
We know from the past ten summers, that these months are a time for being outside, or on vacation, and that our numbers will be low. That’s totally okay with us; we are open every day so you can come see us as often as possible, but we don’t need to work every day! Enjoy your time with family, being outside, connecting with nature, and simply enjoying the feeling of summertime.
We occasionally have to take off ourselves, and may close up spontaneously. If we have to cancel a class that is has you in it, we will definitely reach out and let you know! This rarely happens, however.
ALSO, remember that when you book a class, you will receive a text from us the night before or the day of the class as a reminder! If you do not receive a text, we do not know you are coming, so don’t make the drive or walk over here before reaching out to us. In the 10 years we have been open, this has happened twice, where a student booked a week out and came to the next class, and the door was locked and nobody was home, as the class didn’t populate on our end, so it wasn’t happening. Very frustrating; let’s not let this happen.
RSVP to the text and we will know you’re committed to coming.
As always, for last minute late-coming, or cancellations, do send us a heads-up text unless it’s impossible to do so—so we don’t lock you out, and/or worry about you.
Andrea is a big fan of the text.
That’s it for this newsletter! I’m working on the next one that will further explain the class offerings. It’s been a bit since I’ve done that, so look for us soon in the emails!
As always, you can unsubscribe if this content no longer is of any interest to you.
